Walker Bay has developed more than just great boats, they have created a system of boats. Proprietary to Walker Bay the Add-a System allows someone to customize their boat to meet exactly their needs and tastes. Using Add-a System?someone can choose their boat and seat color combination and then select between different RID tubes or Sail kits to meet their exact needs. It also allows someone who purchases a Walker Bay Boat to start with the basic boat and then add features and build their boat over time as their needs change.

Through the use of high-tech injection molding and proprietary composite resins, Walker Bay has created an incredibly durable and long lasting one piece hull that has very high impact resistance and has no seams where failure can occur. Unlike other types of boat manufacturing this process is also environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable. The result is a lightweight, durable and maintenance free boat.

The Variable Profile Design (VPD) tube developed by Walker Bay is revolutionary in its application to small boats.? It creates a boat with all the best features of an inflatable and hard shell dinghy and has won several awards including this year's SAIL Magazine Pittman award for innovation.

On the bottom of all Walker Bay's you will find a Wheel in the Keel which makes moving your boat easier than you can imagine. The Wheel in the Keel is designed for abuse using a customer composite mix of Polypropylene, Acetyl, High-Strength Nylon and Urethane and is combined with an insert molded bronze bushing for longer wear. Perfect for easy transport, just grab the front of the boat and roll it in.
